Everyone has their own way of learning. Some find it easy to learn things by reading them, some can memorise things after seeing them only once and others learn by a much more hands on approach. Scientists call these styles of learning and there are 3 types - Visual, Auditory and Kineasthetic. Each of us learn by the 3 learning styles, but we have one which we prefer and because of this we also have a preferred way to revise - if you learn by a hands on approach, reading your book to revise is not going to help you!

If you understand what your learning style is, then you are more likely to revise in a way that suits you and will be able to revise more information in less time and understand it! Linked below are 3 parts of a website which will explain more about the different learning styles, allow you to test for your learning style and give you suggestions of how to revise.

Click the link below for a short booklet which explains more about what revision is and also contains a more detailed test to help you find out your learning style.
